Stanley Cup Odds: SoCal Teams Take Hit on Futures

The first games of the opening round of the playoffs have shaken up the Stanley Cup odds at online sportsbook Bodog. The favorite remains the same with Washington still on top at +300, but little else does since the puck dropped on the postseason.

One of the biggest movers up the odds list have been the Dallas Stars. Dallas started the playoffs fifth on the odds list at +800. After taking a 2-0 series lead on the Minnesota Wild and outscoring them 6-1, the Stars are now listed at +450.

Stanley Cup Odds: Capitals, Kings Sitting as Chalk

If the oddsmakers have it right the Washington Capitals and the Los Angeles Kings will be facing off in the Stanley Cup final. The Capitals begin the playoffs as the overall favorite on the Stanley Cup future odds at +400 at online sportsbook Bodog, while Los Angeles has the best line in the Western Conference at +700.

That likely isn’t good news for the Philadelphia Flyers and the San Jose Sharks, the opening-round opponents of the Capitals and Kings.

Penguins Surge Continues Up the Stanley Cup Futures

With only a few days remaining in the NHL regular season the Pittsburgh Penguins continue to be the hottest team in the league and a valuable pick on the Stanley Cup future odds at online sportsbook Bodog.
