Stanley Cup Odds: Kings vs. Devils

The Los Angeles Kings and the New Jersey Devils are the final two teams left standing as NHL betting wraps up for the season with the 2012 Stanley Cup final.

The Kings and Devils both started the season in the middle of the pack on the Stanley Cup odds at the sportsbooks, with the Kings taking a noticeable dive on those futures as they struggled to make the playoffs as the eighth seed in the West.

However, making quick work of the Vancouver Canucks and the St. Louis Blues over the first two rounds of the playoffs pushed the Kings up to the top of the odds to win the Stanley Cup, where they sit heading into the final this week against the Devils.

The Devils, despite needing more games to knock out their first three postseason opponents, have the NHL betting trends in their favour heading into the series as they went 2-0 against the Kings during the regular season – with both those games in October.

The Stanley Cup final gets underway on Wednesday night in New Jersey, with the Devils also hosting Game 2 on Saturday. The series then shifts to Los Angeles’ Staples Center for Games 3 and 4 next Monday and Wednesday night.
