Penguins enter playoffs atop Stanley Cup futures

The Pittsburgh Penguins are only the fourth seed in the Stanley Cup playoffs, but they still sit atop the NHL futures at the sportsbooks to win the championship this spring.

Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and company are the 7/2 favorites at Bodog on the odds to win the Stanley Cup as they get set to take on the rival Philadelphia Flyers in the first round of the league’s playoffs this week.

Penguins march to top of Stanley Cup futures

With Sidney Crosby now back in the fold the Pittsburgh Penguins have moved back to the top of the Stanley Cup futures board at the sportsbooks as the NHL winds down its regular-season schedule.

The Penguins, back at 11/1 on the Stanley Cup odds at Bodog at the end of February, are now set as the favorites at 9/2 on that list. The Vancouver Canucks, who were the 5/1 favorites last month, are now second at 6/1 to win the championship.
